Jacqueline Taylor is a neurodiverse artist, writer, researcher, lecturer, interloper and professional in-betweener. Whilst she generally inhabits the art world and academia, she does so from the edges and can often be found crossing the borders of other disciplines and practices.
Jacqueline frequently finds herself working in-between spaces. Her art, writing and research practices traverse the fields of semiotics, painting and poetics and are often intertwined. As such, her work often takes hybrid forms such as textstallations, painsculptstallations, performance-texts, painting-poems and book paintings.
She is currently Senior Lecturer in Research Practice at the Faculty of Arts, Design and Media, Birmingham where she has specialised in Doctoral Education for nearly 10 years. She is unapologetically fond of glitter canons and making a mess as part of her teaching practice.
